The third day of the Jio MAMI 17th Mumbai Film Festival saw the reunion of the cast and crew of Anil Kapoor and Sridevi-starrer Mr India. At the event, a lesser known fact about the movie was revealed by Javed Akhtar. He said that the makers had thought of casting Amitabh Bachchan in Mr India.

“A film by Pramod Chakravorty, with Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, was being shot. In the first shot, they had a tape recorder and his voice was played. A moving shot was taken. That’s when the idea of invisible man theme came up. But things did not work out with him (Amitabh Bachchan),” said Akhtar.

Sridevi grooves to 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' along with Shilpa Shetty

 Bollywood star Anil Kapoor brought out the fairy light and decorations to celebrate the festival of Karwa Chauth with his closest friends from the industry and his family. He organised a special bash at his residence that saw celebrities like Shilpa and Raj Kundra, Sanjay Kapoor, Bonay Kapoor and his wife Sridevi,  Kirron and Anupam Kher, Krishna Raj Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey, Neelam and Sameer Soni, Padmini Kolhapuri. 

The dubsmash fever has gripped the entire Bollywood and we see many celebrities trying their hand at this new app. People celebrate Karvachauth in their own ways and with the advent of technology the ways have become more fun. The stars definitely had a blast as Shilpa Shetty posted a video where she can be seen grooving to 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' with Sridevi. She captioned it as, "And this is after food @sridevi.kapoor, this is my dream come true.."
