Disappointing! Apple to withdraw sub-Rs 20,000 iphones from Indian market


The Cupertino-headquartered company has decided to withdraw iPhone 4s and the iPhone 5c models from India market, a report in the Times of India said.
It should be noted that iPhone 4s was selling at Rs 12,000 while iPhone 5c was selling at Rs 20,000 in India.
Also, recently Apple had reduced the price of iPhone 5s in the country by almost half. Apple had made this move to rake up sales in the country.
The iPhone 5s prices now can be bought at Rs 24,999. Henceforth, the iPhone 5s will be the lowest-priced iPhone to be sold in India after the other two phones are withdrawn.
