Tata Motors to launch India's first indigenous robot - Tata Brabo


Tata Brabo, the first India-made robot for 'Make In India' has been manufactured by TAL Manufacturing Solutions Limited, a 100 percent subsidiary of TATA Motors.
On its official website, TAL has invited one and all to “Join the Robolution” as it unveils 'India's first indigenous industrial articulated robot'.
Tata Brabo will be unveiled during the Make In India Week at Mumbai.
However, as per the Economic Times, the robot will be launch in the market in the next two months.
According to the report, Brabo has been developed in-house by a team of six engineers whose average age is 24 years, led by Anil Bhingurde, chief operating officer of TAL Manufacturing Solutions.
The development cost is reported to be about Rs 10 crore.
"These are made in India, made for India. The idea is to drive automation in the market by offering affordable and cost-effective solution," Bhingurde was quoted as saying.
TAL is one of the leading companies in India, having successfully delivered manufacturing solutions for over 40 years to customers in Automotive and Heavy Engineering and more recently, to Aerospace and Defence sectors.
