Do you know Le 1s costs more than Rs 10,999? Know the real price here

Priced at just Rs 10,999 for features that are usually found in phones costing above Rs 25,000, Le 1s has become immensely popular since its arrival into the Indian smartphone market.
During the past three flash sales on Flipkart, 2.2 lakh units of Le 1s has been sold in just 31 seconds with registrations exceeding 20 lakh.
However, the interesting fact of the matter is that, the Le 1s costs more than what it has been priced at – Rs 10, 999.
It costs Rs 16,042.
Yes! That is right. The cost of the components used for making the phone is Rs 16,042, but the company is selling it at subsidised rates.
"We are working on whole Internet eco-system and not just devices. We will open the sale of Le 1s for Rs 10,999 on Flipkart from Tuesday onwards and customers purchasing it using Axis Bank card will get it for Rs 9,899,” Le Ecosystem Technology India Chief Operating Officer Atul Jain said prior to the first flash sale.
"We are selling this device without any margin to boost eco-system of our other offerings," he added.
Le 1s features a metal unibody with a 5.5 inch full high definition display, 64-bit octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It has 13-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel wide angle selfie camera.
The phone has a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support, which means a 5 minute quick charge can sustain a 3.5 hour talk time.
