Six-year-old Virsaviya ‘Bathsheba’ Borun-Goncharova was born with her heart beating outside her ribcage.
Virsaviya ‘Bathsheba’ Borun-Goncharova is not an ordinary kid. This six-year-old has been bravely battling a complex heart condition that occurs in around 5.5 per one million live births. She was born with her heart beating outside her ribcage.
Her mother Dari was warned that her child would not be able to survive during her pregnancy, however the little girl has miraculously lived to tell the tale. The little girl, who is originally from Russia but now lives in South Florida with her mother, suffers from Pentalogy of Cantrell.
Unfortunately, Virsaviya cannot undergo a surgery for at least another two years because she has high blood pressure.
